SO. MUCH. NEW. STUFF!

Wow, has it ever been a busy summer at Perfect Mix!  Aside from helping to create some amazing recording projects, we've also merged with veteran engineer and producer Scott Rainey's studio The Hit Department.  So what does that mean?

Studio B
Mixing, Editing, & Overdub Suite
STUDIO B!
Our biggest addition by far has been the construction of Studio B--a space dedicated to mixing, mastering, editing, and overdubs.  Just like Studio A, Studio B features Pro Tools and Logic Pro platforms as well as some other treats like an Avid Eleven Rack guitar interface, Alesis Masterlink mastering unit, Digi03 interface, and Apogee Rosetta A/D converter.

TONS OF NEW GEAR!
While Perfect Mix was largely a digital studio in the past, Scott has brought in a very tasty selection of high-end analog gear, including preamps and compressors from Avalon, Neve, Universal Audio, and more.

We've also more than doubled our respective microphone collections, with some awesome new mics from Blue, Shure, AKG, and many others.

MORE INPUTS!
Do you have a bigger band? No problem! Studio A can now simultaneously record up to 24 individual tracks, and features higher-quality interfaces than ever before by MOTU and Focusrite.

BETTER SOUNDING
BOOTH & LIVE ROOM

Thanks to the sonic treatments from The Hit Department, we've been able to further refine the sound of our tracking room and vocal booth for an even better recording and listening experience!
